Im größten Teil der Provinz Namibe nördlich des -16. Breitengrades und erstreckt sich geringfügig in die südliche Provinz Benguela und in die nordwestliche Provinz Huíla unterhalb von 1000 m NN. Fehlt in den trockenen Gebieten der südwestlichen- sowie der südöstlichen Namibe-Provinz.
